For more than two years I have been working in my BotanINK series, depicting abstractions of nature’s constant growth and transformations. I have dediced to close the series with the last 11 pieces I am currently working on. Once I am done, there will be a total of 53 pieces in BotanINK, and with the new year will come an evolution of this concept into a new series that will complement my
“I am” Series. Looking back at the 42 pieces of BotanINK that are finished, you might see that I have allowed space for new interpretations of my statement. I like to experiment with new techniques and processes, but there are always recurring elements present.
